Trackclerk · last updated October 16, 2026

Trackclerk is a meet-day companion for track & field. We built it to reduce the chaos of meet day, and we try to collect as little about you as possible to do that. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we store on your device

Most of what you enter stays on your own phone, in the app's local storage — it is not sent to us:

Clearing your browser data or removing the app deletes this information.

What we don't do

Young athletes

Track & field athletes are often minors. Trackclerk is intended to be set up and managed by an athlete's parent, guardian, or coach. We store only the minimal athlete details needed to find their events (name, age, team), primarily on your device. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child's information was provided to us and should be removed, contact us and we'll delete it. If you are under 13, please have a parent or guardian set up and manage Trackclerk for you.

Your choices

Keeping & deleting data

We keep server-side sign-ups (alert emails/phone numbers, push subscriptions, follows, and waitlist entries) only as long as they're useful for sending the alerts you asked for — typically through the end of the current meet season, or until you ask us to remove them. Expired push subscriptions are pruned automatically. You can request deletion at any time (see Contact).

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under CCPA — you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us. Because our providers (Cloudflare, Resend, Twilio, Open-Meteo) are US-based, data you provide may be processed in the United States.
